A RESOLUTION OF INTENTION TO ESTABLISH COUNTY
S~RlTICE AREA N0. 89 (ROCK CRE~K NORD AREA
DRAiNAGE DISTRICTI
bVfIEREAS, pursuant to Tit1e 3, Division 2, Part 2,
Chapter 3 0~ the Government Code o~ the Sta~e of Cali.fornia,
the Board, by its own notice, has initiated praceedings for
the establishment of County Service Area No. 89; and
WHEREAS, the Local Agency Formation Commission of Butte
County has approved the formation of County Service Area No. 89,
NOl"1, THEREPORE, IT IS FIEREBY RESOLVED:
7. County Service Axea No_. 89 ~s pxoposed to be
establa.shed under the texms o£ the a~oresaid cha~ter an the un-
incorporated area of Butte County. The boundary lines of the
territory proposed for inclusion in the area are described in
Fxhibit "A" which is attached hereto and made a part her~of by
this reference.
2. The service area shall be Called County Servic~
Area No. 89 {Rock Creek Nord Area Drainage District). The ty~e
of extended service to be provided is storm drain, channel and
facilities maintenance and related right-of-way acquisitzon and
related systems for the collection of developer fees ~o a1lev~ate
downstr~am impacts on on-site develo7~ment.
3. The Board intends to levy a service charge to pay
for the above-mentioned services in County Service Area No. 89.
The service charge wi11 be assessed in accardance with Government
Code Section 25210.77(a) and Butte County Code Section 21-85
through 21-90. 5aid service charge will not be assessed until
r~view and adoption of a report to be considered at a public
hearing schecluled for the 1984-85 fiscal year.
