.ANNEXATIDN (ANNEXATION TO TID AND Tl~IID}
RESOLVBD by tihe Boaxd o£ Superva.sors of the County o£ Butte,
State o~ Cali~ornia, that
WHEREAS, the proposal for the joint annexation of certain
territory to the Thermalito Irrigation District and the Table
Mountain Irrigation District in the County of Butte was heretofore
filed by the Thermalito Irriga~ion District and the Table Mountain
Irrigation District, and
WHEREAS, both districts have signed a petition indicating a
d.esire Co annex the resevoir and surrounding lands which they own,
and
WHEREAS, the Butte County Local Agency Foxmation Co~ami.sszon
has considered this proposal and approved it and designated the
Board of Supervisors as the conducting authority to considex th~s
annexation proposal, and
WHEREAS, it is necessary for the Board of Supervisoxs to hold
a public hearing on tha.s proposal.
NOW, THEREFO~tE, the Butte Countiy Board of Supervisors does
hereby Resolve, Determine and Order, as follows:
Sec~ion 1. A public hearing shal7. be held on November 29,
1983 at 10:30 a.m. in the Board of Superva.sors° Room, 25 County
Cen~er Drive, Oroville, California.
Section 2. Any interested ~ersons desiring to make written
protest against this rearganization shall do so by written commun-
ication filed with the Clerk of the County not later than ~he hour
set for the hearing. A wra.tten protest by a landowner sha11 contain
a description suf~icient to identify the land owned by him; A
protest by a vo~er shall contain the residential address of such
voter.
PASSED AND ADOPTED, by the Butte County Board of Superv~sors
on this lstday o£ November, 1983, by the following vote:
AYES: Supervisors Fulton, Moseley, Saraceni, Wheeler and
Chair polan
NOES: None
