and others, requesting the abandonment of a public utility easement;
and
WHEREAS, pursuant to Chapter 3, Part 3 of Division 9 of
Caiifornia Streets and Highways Code, this Board shall set a date
for a hearing on the petition for abandonment.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of Supervisors:
1. That this Board hereby gives notice that at its
regular meeting on
December 6, 1983, at 10:00 a.m., in the
Board Chambers, Butte County Administration Building, Oroville,
California, a hearing shall be held on the abandonment of the
following described easement:
Copley Acres Unit 2, Phase 1

Being that certain IO-foat public utility easements
lying within the East 1/2 of Section 22, T19N, R4E,
M.D.M. Also lying within Lots 7 and 8 of Copley
Acres Unit 2, Phase 1, recorded in Book 85, Maps
of Record at Pages 89 through 91, County of Bu~Ce,
State of Cali.fornia, being more particularly described
as follows:
1. Being that certain 10-foot public utility easement
lying 5 feet on each side and contiguous to the lot
line common to Lots 7 and 8 of said subd~.vision,
beginning at tE~e southerly corner commvn to said Lots
7 and 8, thence North 123.87 feet.
Excepting therefrom the most northerly 2Q feet lying
within the building setback 1ine.
2. Being that certain 10-foot public uti].ity easemenr
lying northerly of and contiguous to the south ~.ot
Iine of said Lot 7, beginning at the southwesr corner
of said Lot 7, thence N 89°45'00" ~, 38.93 feet to the
end of the described easement.
Said Map showing the public utility easements to be
abandoned is on file in the Office of ButCe County
Depattment of Public Works, 7 County Center Drive,
Oroville, California.

2. That a map showing said portion of said publaic utility
easement to be abandoned is on file at the Butte County Public Works
Department, 7 County Center Drive, Oroville, California.
3. That this Resolution be posted and published pursuant
to the provisions of Chapter 3, Patt 3 of Divisfon 9 of California
Streets and Highway Code.
