This matter came on regularly for hearing before the
Board af Supervisors of ehe County of Butte, State of California,
on November 15
, 1983, in the Board Chambers, Butte County
Administration Building, Oroville, California, and it appearing to
said Board that a Noti.ce of Tntention and Resolution to Abandon An
Alley and Notice of Time and Place of Hearing of said Abandonment
was duly and regularly given as required by law, and testimony and
evi.dence, both oral and documentary, having been produced at said
hearing, from which said Board now finds that the hereinafter
described alley a.s unnecessary for presenr or prospective public
use.
NOW, THEREFORE, IT IS HEREBY ORDERED as follows:
1. That the highway situated in rhe County of Butte, State
o£ Californa.a, as hereinafter more particularly described is hereby
abandoned.
2. That the descripCion of said highway abandoned is
situated in tk~e CounCy of Butte, State of Ca~ifornia, and more
particularly described as follows:
All that cerrain real property situated in the
County of Butte, S~ate of California described
as fvllows:
All that portion of ~as~ Lindo Avenue bounded on
the northeast by the sourherly line of Lindo
Channel, on the sourkawesr by the northerly line of
lots number one, two and three of block number 15,
as shown on tkae map of the "Fourteenth Subdivision
of the John Bidwell Rancho," which map was recorded
in the office o£ the Recorder of the County of
Butte, State of California, on Au~ust 14, 1907, in o
Sook 6 of Maps at Page 68, on the west by the ~
northerly extension of the easterly line of t17
Mangrove Avenue, and on the south by the easterly ~
extension of the northerly line of East Ninth
Avenue, also beiag the easterly extension of the ~

R~SOLUTION ABANDONING A PORTION OF A HIGHWAY

Excepting and reserving a 20-foot wide easement
being IO feet on each side of the existing storm
drain from the northerly line of East Ninth Avenue
to Lindo Channel.
Excepting and reserving any existing easements
and or rights at any time or Fr.om time to time,
to maintain, operate, replace, remove, renew and
enlarge the existing public utility facilities
and fac~lities incidental thereto, including
access to protect the property from all hazards
in, upon, and over the highway herein described.
3. That the owners, heirs or assigns shall provide an
access from East 9th Avenue to their property.
4. That the Clerk of this Boazd shall cause a certified
copy of this Resolution, with the seal of the Board of Supervisors
of the rounty ot Butte, State of California, to be recorded in the
office of the Recorder of the County of Butte, State of California.
PASSED AND ADOPTED by the Butte County Board of Supervisors
this 15th , day of November , 1983, by the following vote:
