This maCter came on regularly for hearing before the Board
of Supervisors o€ the County of Butte, State of California, on
1]ecember 6 , 1983, in the Board Chambers, Butte County Administration
Building, Oroville, California, and it appearing to said Board that
a Notice of Time and P1ace of Hearing of sazd Abandonmezat was duly
and regularly give^ as ~equized by law, and testimony and evidence,
both oral and documentary, having been produced at said hearing,
from which said Board now finds that the hereinafter described
Public Utility Easement 9s unnecessaty for present or prospective
pubiic use.
NOW, THEREFORE, IT IS HEREBY ORDERED as foilows:
1. That the public utility easement situated in the County
afr Butte, State of Californa.a, as hereinafter more particularly
described is hereby abandoned.
2. That the description of said public utility easement
so abandoned is situated in the County of Butte, State of Cali~ornS.a,
and more particularly described as follows:
Copley Acres Unit 2, Phase 1
P.U.E.
Seing that certain 1Q-foot public utility easements
lying within the East 1/2 c~~ Section 22, Ti9N, 1t4E,
M.D.M. Also lying within LoCS 7 and 8 of Copley
AcFes Unit 2, Phase l, recorded in Book 85, Maps of
Record at Pages 89 through 91, County of Butte,
SCate o~ Ca~.ifornia, being more particularly described
as fallows:
l. Being that cerrain 10-foot public utility easement
iying 5 feet on each side and contiguous to the 1ot
line common to Lots 7 and 8 0~ said subdivisfon,
beginnin~ at the southerly corner common to said Lots
7 and 8, thence NorCh 123.87 feet.
Excepting therefrom the most northerly 20 feet lying
within the building se~back line.

RESOLUTION ABANDONING A PUBLIC UTILITY EASEMENT

2. Being that certain 10-foot public utility easement
lying northetly of and contiguaus to the south 1ot
line of said Lot 7, beginning at the southwest corner
of said Lot 7, thence N 89°45'00" E, 38.93 feet to the
end of the described easement.
Said Map showing the publfc utility easements to be
abandoned is on file in the Office of Butte County
Department of Public Works, 7 County Center Drive,
Oroville, California.
3. That the Clerk of this Board sha11 cause a certified
copy of this Resolution, with the seai of the Board of Supervisors
of the County of Butte, State of California, to be recorded in the
of~ice of the Recorder of the County of Butte, State of California.

this 6th day of December , 1983 , by rhe following vote:
