AN ORDINANCE 20NING A PORTION OF
TFIE COUNTY OF B[JTTB, STl~TE OF
CALkFORNIA PURSUANT TO ORDII~FANCE
NOS. 475, 522 AND 676 Oi~ SAID
COUNTY
1 The Board of Supervisors of the County of Butte, States of Calif-
2 ornia, under and pursuant to Ordinance: No. 475 of said County, being
3 the Zoning Enabling Ordinance of said County, as amended by Ordinanc
4 Nos. 522 and 576 does ordain as followsz
S SECTION 1. The hereinbeiow descri~ied area, situate in the Count
8 of Butts, State of California shall be and it :Ls hereby zoned as an
7 "R-l~' (Single-family Residential) District and such areas shall be
8 subject to the restrictions and restricted uses and regulations
9 ereinafter specified and provided. Said areas so aoned being
20 located in then unincorporated area of $utte County, north of the Cit
11 f Chico, California, and particularly described as follower
12 Chico Sectional Map Nos. 2G and 2H as shown in the Office of
13 the Butts County Planning Cpmmission and Offices of the Butte
14 County Clerk.
i5 SECTION 2, REG`FJLATIONS FOR "R-1*' DISTRICT

29 County as a Federal Aid Secondary Road, the minimum buildin
30 setback requirement shall be fifty five (55) feet from the
31 centerline of said Road,

SECTION 3. ADbITIONAL USES PERMITTEDs
3.1 "C-2'f (Gen®ral Commercial) uses axe permitted as delineate
on maps as described for the area in Section 1 at the
northeast and northwest corner of Sheridan and East First
Avenue.
3.2 "R-•4'* (Professional and business offices and multiple
dwellings, excluding trailers) axe permitted as delineated
on map as described for area shown in Section 1, north of
Bast First Avenue and from Sherman Avenue lssteriy to the
freeway.
3.3 All Weer permitted in ~~tbseetions.:~3.1 and 3.2 are sub3ect
to th® off-attest parking requirements as required by the
Planning Commission, The paxkciag requirements for the
cnmmereial and professional and business offices shall be
oa the basis of two (2) square feet fox ®ach square foot
of gross floor space. The parking requixemer~ts for molt
dwellings shall be on the basis of one (l} parking space
for each dwelling unit; and the minimum area for each pa

22 SECTION 5. In compliance with the provisions of said .toning
23 Enabling Ordinanoe, the same is hereby amendAd by adding to Section
24 5 then®of this Orrdinance in full.
25 SIICTION 6. The penalties for the violation of the zoning hereb
26 imposed within the district shall be as provided is the Zoning Enab
27 Ordinance. In compliance with the provisions of the Zoning Enablin
28. Ordinance, this Ordinance sha11 from and after its ®ffective date
29 become a supplement to and part of the Zoning Enabling Ordinance.
30 SECTION 7. The Erdinance shall be and it is hereby declared to
31 be in fu11 force and effect from and aftez thiacty (30) days after
32 the date of.its passage and before the expiration of fiftmen (15)

days aftex the date of passage. This Ordinance shall be published
once with the names of the members of the Board. voting fox and
against it in the ~ligco Nx~terprise ~ a newspaper published in
the County of Butte, State of California.
PASSED AND ADOPTED by the Board of Supervisors of the County of
