HomeMy WebLinkAbout84-002RESOLUTION IN APPRECIATION OF LANCE CPL. GLEN PETERSON WHEREAS, Lance Cpl. Glen Peterson volunteered for duty in Beirut; and T•TkEREAS, while serving as crew chief of an amtrac amphibious assault unit, and working security at the south end of the Beirut Airport, Lance Cpl. Glen Peterson's unit came under attack from Druse militia; and WHEREAS, Lance Cpl. Glen Peterson, while performing in the line of duty, was wounded by flying schrapnel from a mortar round. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that this Board. on its own behalf, and on behalf of the residents of the County of Butte, expresses deep appreciation for the unselfish dedication and devotion to duty rendered b~ Tance Cpl. Glen Peterson.
