RESOLUTION FOR SUMMARY ABANDONMENT FOR INDIAN DRIVE
WHEREAS, a portion of Indian Drive right of way is no longer necessary or
xequired for road purposes; and
WHEREAS, pursuant to the Streets and Highways Code Section 960.1, the Board
finds that a portion o£ Indian Drive right of way should be summarily vacated;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of Supervisors of the County of
Butte, State of California, as follows:
The following described portion of Indian Drive right of way is hereby
summarily vacated and abandoned pursuant to Streets and Highways Code Section 960.1:
Being a portion of the Southeast quarter of Section 36, Township 23 North, Range
3 East, M,D.B.&M, and being more particularly described as follows:
Being a strip of land 60.00 feet in width more particularly described as follows:
Beginning at the most northerly corner of Parcel A as shown on that certain
Boundary Line Adjustment Parcel Map for Kevin H. Fischer, et al, which map
was filed in the Office of the Recorder of Butte County, California in Book 73
of Parcel Maps at pages 26 and 27; thence following along the northwesterly
boundary line of said Parcel A, South 45°24'05" west for 250.16 feet to a
point located in the easterly boundary line of Indian Drive as shown on said
Parcel Map, said point being a3.ao the true point of beginning for the parcel
of land herein described; thence from said true point of beginning following
along the arc of a 120.00 foot radius curve concave to the east; through a
central angle of 19°55'53" for an arc distance of'41,74 feet, the chord of
which bears South 30°41'24" east for 41.53 feet to the end of said curve;
thence South 40°39'20" east for 308.84 feet to a point located on the southerly
boundary line of said Section 36; thence South 89°55'57" west along said south-
erly boundary line for 4.53 feet to an angle point in the southerly boundary
line of said Parcel A as shown on said Parcel Map; thence continuing along the
southerly boundary line of said Section 36, South 89°55'57" west for 69.48 feet;
thence north 40°39'20" west for 257,43 feet to the beginning of a tangent con-
centric 180.00 foot radius curve to the right; thence following along said curve
through a central angle of 11°42'39" for an arc distance of 36.79 feet to a
point located on the westerly boundary line of said Indian Drive on the north-
westerly boundary line of said Parcel A; thence north 45°24'05" east for 63.59
feet to said true point of beginning and containing 0,444 acre, more or less,
PASSED AND ADOPTED by the Board of Supervisors of the County of Butte, State
of California, this 24th day of January , 19 84 , by the following vote•
