RESOLUTION IN MEMORY OF FLORENCE BENOIT
WHEREAS, this Board was grieved to learn of the death of
Florence Benoit; and
WHEREAS, Florence Benoit was a member of the First Church
of Christ Scientist in Chico and the Mather Church of Boston; and
WHEREAS, Florence Benoit was active in the League of Women
Voters and was a familiar face at Board of Supervisors meetings, which
she regularly attended;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED as follows:
1. That this Board hereby memorializes its appreciation
for the years of devotion and service rendered to the citizens of
the County of Butte by Florence Benoit during her lifetime.
2. That this Board wishes to express to the family of
Florence Benoit its deepest and heartfelt condolences on their
loss.
PASSED AND ADOPTED by the Butte County Board of Supervisors
this 14th day of January, 1984, by the following vote:
AYES: Supervisors Dolan, Fulton, Moseley, Wheeler and
Chairman Saraceni
NOES: None
ABSENT: None
NOT VOTING: None
