Resolution ~o. 84-19
RESOLUTION IN RECOGNITION
OF CLAY CASTLEBERRY
WHEREAS, Clay Castleberry began his employment with the
County of Butte on February 23, 1954 when he was appointed Associate
Civil. Engineer; and
WHEREAS, Clay Castleberry was promoted to Chief, General
Engineer Division on November 29, 1956, was later appointed Acting
Director of Public Works on September 1, 1965, and then promoted to
Director of Public Works on November 23, 1965; and
WHEREAS, Clay Castleberry, during his tenure, has diligently
served the County and its citizens in his employment as Director of
Public Works, together with many of his. other civic activities;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that this Board, on its
own behalf, and on behalf of the residents of the County of Butte,
expresses deep appreciation for the unselfish devotion and outstanding
service rendered to the citizens of the County of Butte by Clay
Castleberry during his 30 years of employment.
PASSED AND ADOPTED by the Butte County Board of Supervisors
this 14th day of February, 1984, by the following vote:
AYES: Supervisors Dolan, Fulton, Moseley, Wheeler
and Chairman Saraceni
NOES: None
ABSENT: None
NOT VOTING: None
