RESOLUTION DECLARING MARCH 3-10
AS WOMEN'S HISTOR`? WEEK
WHEREAS, women in Butte County have contributed to
every facet of our community's well being; and
WHEREAS, women's contributions have been felt in
farming, business, homemaking, labor, eeucation, religion and
the volunteer force; and
WHEREAS, many of women's contributions have gone
unrecorded and unrecognized.
NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, by the Butte County
Board of Supervisors that the week of March 3 - 10, 1984 be
declared "WOMEN'S HISTOR° WEEK" in recognition of the importance
of women to our community.
PASSED AND ADOPTED by the Butte County Board of
Supervioors this 28th day of February, 1984, by the following
vote:
