PLEDGE OF ALLEGIANCE
No, 84-34
WHEREAS, the Pledge of Allegiance symbolizes an attachment
to the traditions, ideals and interests of the United States; and
WHEREAS, the Pledge of Allegiance is characteristic of
political principals and practices; and
WHEREAS, the Board of Supervisors of the County of Butte
pledges its promise to support the ideals on which our Constitution
was founded;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that this Board hereby
declares its intent to pledge allegiance to the Flag of the United
States of America at each and every meeting of the Butte County
Board of Supervisors.
PASSED AND ADOPTED by the Butte County Board of Supervisors
this 3rd day of March, 1984, by the following vote:
AYES: Supervisors Dolan, Fulton, Moseley, Wheeler
and Chairman Saraceni
NOES: None
ABSENT: None
NOT VOTING: None
