HomeMy WebLinkAbout84-035>BOARD OF SUPERVISORS COUNTY OF BUTTE, STgTEi::OF CALIFO,RNlA RESOLUTION DECLARING MARCH 16-22, 1984 AS "AGRICULTURE WEEK IN BUTTE COUNTY" WHEREAS, agriculture continues to be the back-bone of this country's economy; and WHEREAS, California is the Number 1 agriculture producing state in the United States, producing 45% of the nation's fruits and vegetables; and WHEREAS, agriculture is the essential industry in the State of California; and WHEREAS, alsubstantial portion of the economy in Butte County is agricultural productivity; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by this Board as follows: 1. That in order to show agriculture's vital role to the economy of the County of Butte, this Board hereby declares March 16-22, 1984, as "Agriculture Week in Butte County." PASSED AND ADOPTED by the Butte County Board of Supervisors this 3rd day of March, 1984, by the following vote: AYES: Supervisors Dolan, Fulton, Moseley, Wheeler and Chairman Saraceni NOES: None ASSENT: None NOT VOTING: None AL SARACENI, Chairman of the Butte County Board of Supervisors ATTEST: MARTIN J.
