HomeMy WebLinkAbout84-044~. 1 ~ 'BOARD O'F S'UPERV:ISORS GOUNTY OF EU.TTE„6T.ATE.;C~F CALIFQRNIA Resolufion No. 84- 4a RESOLUTION GIVING NOTICE OF HEARING ON PETITION TO ABANDON A PUBLIC UTILITY EASEMENT WHEREAS, this Board has received a petition from Leonard Vaught, and others, requesting the abandonment of a public utility easement; and WHEREAS, pursuant to Chapter 3, Part 3 of Division 9 of California Streets and Highways Code, this Board shall set a date for a hearing on the petition for abandonment. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of Supervisors: 1. That this Board hereby gives notice that at its regular meeting on May 1 1984, at 10:00 a,m., in the Board Chambers, Butte County Administration Building, Oroville, California, a hearing shall be held on the abandonment of the following described easement: PARCEL #1: A public utility easement, 12.00 feet in width, over a portion of Lots 33, 34, 35, and 36, according to that certain map entitled Northgate Village Subdivision Unit #1, as filed for record in Book 22 Maps, at Page 45, lying northerly of, and westerly of, adjacent to and parallel with the following described line and being located in Section 10, Township 19 North, Range 4 East, M.D.M., Butte County, California: Commencing at the southwest corner of said Lot 33; thence S 88°53'51" E, along the south line of said subdivision, 12.00 feet, to the TRUE POINT OF BEGINNING for the herein described line; thence continuing S 88°53'51" E, along said line, 600.15 feet, to the southeast corner of said Lot 35; thence N 16°56'59" E, along the easterly line of Lot 35 and 36, 175.66 feet to a point perpendicularly distant 12.00 feet southerly of the north line of that certain parcel of land as conveyed to Leonard Vaught as recorded in Book 2483, Butte County Official Records, at Page 589, and the end of the described line. PARCEL #2: An easement, 4.00 feet in width, for public utilities, lying two feet on each side of the easterly line of Lot 34, according to that certain map entitled Northgate Village Subdivision Unit #1, as filed for record in Book 22 Maps, at Page 45, Butte County, California. -2- 2. That a map showing said portion of said public utility easement to be abandoned is on file at the Butte County Public Works Department, 7 County Center Drive, Oroville, California. 3. That this Resolution be posted and published pursuant to the provisions of Chapter 3, Part 3 of Division 9 of California Streets and Highway Code. PASSED AND ADOPTED by the Butte County Board of Supervisors this 13th day of March 1984, by the following vote: AYES: Supervisors Dolan, Fulton, Moseley, Wheeler and Chairman Saraceni NOES: None ABSENT: None NOT VOTING: None ~//` L~ ~ .
