HomeMy WebLinkAbout84-052BOARD OF SUP'ERVISQRS' CQUNTY OF BUTTE, .STATE OF GALI]=C~RNIA Resolution No. 84- sa RESOLUTION GIVING NOTICE OF HEARING ON PETITION TO ABANDON A RIGHT-OF-WAY WHEREAS, this Board has received a petition from Marvin Snowmaker, and others, requesting the abandonment of a right-of-way as described below; and WHEREAS, pursuant to Chapter 3, Part 3 of Division 9 of California Streets. and Highways Code, this Board shall set a date for a hearing on the petition for abandonment, NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of Supervisors: 1. That this Board hereby gives notice that at its regular meeting on April 24 1984 at io:oo a.m., in the Board Chambers, Butte County Administration Building, Oroville, California, a hearing shall be held on the abandonment of the following described right-of-way. Colusa St. & Antelope St. Town of Nelson Right of Way Being those certain 80-foot rights of way known as Colusa Street and Antelope Street as shown on the Map of the Town of Nelson, recorded in Book 1, Maps of Record, at Page 58, County of Butte, State of California, more particularly described as follows: 1) Beginning at the southeasterly corner of Lot 5, Block 17, of the Town of Nelson, thence South 80 feet, thence West 50 feet more or less, thence North 80 feet, thence East 50 feet more or less to the point of beginning. 2) Beginning at the southeasterly corner of Lot 5, Block 18, of the Town of Nelson, Thence South 80 feet, thence West 50 feet more or less, thence North 80 feet, thence East 50 feet more or less to the point of beginning. Said Map showing the rights of way to be abandoned is on file in the Office of Butte County Department of Public Works, 7 County Center Drive, Oroville, California. -2- 2, That a map showing said portion of said right-of-way to be abandoned is on file at the Public Works Department, 7 County Center Drive, Oroville, California. 3. That this Resolution be posted and published pursuant to the provisions of Chapter 3, Part 3 of Division 9 of California Streets and Highways Code.
