HomeMy WebLinkAbout84-058ABo~,~o o~ suPERV~so~s COUNTY OF BUTTE, STATE OF CALIFORNIA Resolution N0.84-58 (A) RESOLUTION REGARDING PRIME COMPUTER UTILIZATION WHEREAS, the County of Butte has been designated as a Service Delivery Area {SDA) under the Jobs Training Partnership Act (JTPA); and, WHEREAS, the Board, in conjunction with the Private Industry Council (PIC), has entered into an agreement designating the County as the grant recipient and administering entity; and, WHEREAS, it is the responsibility of the Personnel Director, as the Executive Officer to the SDA to administer the Job Training Partnership Act and the Family Economic Security Act; and, WHEREAS, the Personnel Director, as the Executive Officer of the SDA, utilizes the PRIME Computer for administrative functions under the Job Training Partnership Act; and, WHEREAS, the Auditor-Controller, as the fiscal officer of the SDA, utilizes the PRIME Computer through remote terminal access far the fiscal review processes of programs funded to the SDA; and, WHEREAS, the Butte County Auditor-Controller's Office also uses the PRIME Computer capabilities for assisting in the County's overall budget preparation. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, the Auditor-Controller's Office will reimburse the Job Training Partnership Act Program with in-kind services for computer time used for County budget preparation at a rate of $7.00 per hour of connection time to the PRIME Computer. The minimum monthly connection charge shall be one hour computer time. This rate represents a fair and reasonable charge based on prevailing community rates and it is estimated this charge will not exceed $2,000 per year. The utilization and in-kind service shall be documented by the Auditor-Controller in sufficient detail to enable an accurate audit of such charges.
