RESOLUTION P10DIFYING LAND USE FACTORS AND CATEGORIES
USED TO DETERMINE BENEFTT RSSESSMENTS FOR STATE
FLOOD CONTROL MAINTENANCE AREAS 5, 7, 13 AND 15
WHEREAS, on March 22, 1983 and pursuant to Minute Order 83-259,
the Butte County Board of Supervisors elected to levy benefit assessments
as set forth in Section 12$78.40 of the Water Code for State Flood Control
areas 5, 7, 13 and 15; and
WHEREAS, Section 12878.40(c) of the Water Code states that prior
to April 1 of any year the Board of Supervisors may, by resolution, modify
the land use categories and factors used in the formula for determining
benefit assessments for flood control maintenance areas; and
IdHEREAS, on March 13, 1984 and again on March 27, 1984, the Board
of Supervisors held a public hearing to consider proposals to change land
use categories and factors used in the formula to determine assessments for
maintenance areas 5, 7, 13 and 15.
NOW, TFIEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that in order to provide for fair
and practical benefit assessments within maintenance areas 5, 7, 13 and 15,
the Board of Supervisors hereby adopts the following land use categories
and factors:
