'i~'~ ~ ff,,:: ~ BO'AR'D OF SUPERVISORS CC~UtVTY:OF' BUTTE,;,STATE OF_GALlFQF2l~;IA Resolufion No. 84-66 RESOLUTION GIVING NOTICE OF HEARING ON PETITION TO ABANDON A PORTION OF A ROAD WHEREAS, this Board has received a petition from Victor Gipson, Robert Williams, and others, requesting the abandonment of a portion of a road as described below; and WHEREAS, pursuant to Chapter 3, Part 3 of Division 9 of California Streets and Highways Code, this Board shall set a date for a hearing on the petition for abandonment, NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of Supervisors: 1. That this Board hereby gives notice that at its regular meeting on May Z5 , 1984 at 10:0o a .m., in the Board Chambers, Butte County Administration Building, Oroville, California, a hearing shall be held on the abandonment of the following described road: Portion of Los Ver'eles Road All that real property lying in Section 27, T18N, RSE, M.D.M., Butte County, California, being more particularly described as follows: All that portion of Bangor & Sugar Loaf County Road (Presently Los Verjeles Road) according to that certain map entitled "Official Map of the Town of Bangox" as filed for record in Book 7, Maps at Page 77, lying northerly of the north line and northerly of the westerly projection on said north Line of that certain parcel of land as described in deed to the County of Butte as filed for record in Book 1639, Official Records, at Page 232 and being bounded on the west by the southerly projection of the west line of Lot 53, according to said map and being bounded on the east by the east line of Lot 64, according to said map. Said Map showing the right of way to be abandoned is on file in the Office of Butte County Department of Public Works, 7 County Center Drive, Oroville, California. -2- 2. That a map showing said portion of said road to be abandoned is on file at the Public Works Departu~ent, 7 County Center Drive, Oroville, California. 3. That this Resolution be posted and published pursuant to the provisions of Chapter 3, Part 3 of Division 9 of California Streets and Highways Code.
