RESOLUTION FOR SUMMARY ABANDONMENT FOR A PORTION OF DAYTON WEST ROAD
WHEREAS, a portion of Dayton West Road right of way is no longer necessary or
required for road purposes; and
WHEREAS, pursuant to the Streets and Highways Code Section 8334 , the Board
finds that a portion of Dayton West Road right of way should be summarily vacated;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of Supervisors of the County of
Butte, State of California, as follows:
The following-described portion of Dayton West Road right of way is hereby
summarily vacated and abandoned pursuant to Streets and Highways Code Section 960.1:
All that real property situate in the County of Butte, State of California,
described as follows:
All that portion of the Dayton West Road lying within the south half of Sections
19 and 20, T21N, R1E, MDBSd~I, that lies north of a line 9.00 feet north of and
parallel with the south line of said Sections 19 and 20.
Excepting and reserving any existing easement and/or rights at any time, or from
time to time, to maintain, operate, replace, remove, renew and enlarge the exist-
ing public utility facilities and facilities incidental thereto, including access
to protect the property from all hazards in, upon, and over the highway herewith
to be abandoned.
PASSED AND ADOPTED by the Board of Supervisors of the County of Butte,, State
of California, this lst day of May , 1984, by the following vote:
AYES: Supervisors Dolan, Fulton, P~ioseley, wheeler and Chairman Saracen i.
NOES: None
ABSENT: None
NOT VOTING: None
