HomeMy WebLinkAbout84-092WHEREAS, property owner Thurman Coy has petitioned for annexation of certain property to the Town of Paradise; and WHEREAS, the master property tax agreement entitled, "Agreement between Butte County and C~:ties regarding the negotiated exchange of property tax xevenues related to iurisdictional change (in accordance with Revenue and Taxation Go de X99, added by Chapter 282, Statutes of 1979, and amended by Chapter 1161 of the Statutes of 1979), (agreement amended January 31, 19$0)," does not specify the sharing ratio between the Town of parada.se and the Gounty of Butte; and WHEREAS, it is necessary for an agreement to be reached on the exchange of property taxes between the two entities before the annexa- Lion can be legally complete; and WHEREAS, the County of Butte does not wish to delay annexation proceedings requested by this property owner.
