HomeMy WebLinkAbout84-093y~- RESOLUTION ABANDONING A PORTION OF A ROAD This matter came on regularly for hearing before the Board of Supervisors of the County of Butte, State of California, on May 15 19$4, in the Board Chambers, Butte County Administration Building, Oroville, California, and it appearing to said Board that a Notice of Intention and Resolution to Abandon A Portion of A Road and Notice of Time and Place of Hearing of said Abandonment was duly and regularly given as required by law, and testimony and evidence, both oral and documentary, having been produced at said hearing, from which said Board now finds that the hereinafter described road is unnecessary for present or prospective public use. NOW, THEREFORE, IT IS HEREBY ORDERED as follows: 1. That the portion of the road situated in the County of Butte, State of California, as hereinafter more particularly described is hereby abandoned. 2. That the description of said road abandoned is situated in the County of Butte, State of California, and more particularly described as follows: Portion of Los Verjeles Road All that real property lying in Section 27, T18N, RSE, M.D.M., Butte County, California, being more particularly described as follows: All that portion of Bangor & Sugar Loaf County Road (Presently Los Verjeles Road) according to that certain map entitled "Official Map of the Town of Bangor" as filed for record in Book 7, Maps at Page 77, lying northerly of the north line and northerly of the westerly projection on said north line of that certain parcel of land as described in deed to the County of Butte as filed for record in Book 1639, Official Records, at Page 232 and being bounded on the west by the southerly projection of the west line of Lot 53, according to said ~ map and being bounded on the east by the east line of Lot ~ 64, according to said map. ~ Said Map showing the right of way to be abaondoned is on a m file in the Office of Butte County Department of Public ~ Works, 7 County Center Drive, Oroville, California. ~ _2_ 2. That a map showing said portion of said road to be abandoned is on file at the Public Works Department, 7 County Centex Drive, Oroville, California. 3. That the Clerk of this Board shall cause a certified copy of this Resolution, with the seal of the Board of Supervisors of the County of Butte, State of California, to be recorded in the office of the Recorder of the County of Butte, State of California.
