HomeMy WebLinkAbout84-095:~~ ~~d~ =~°; BOARD OF SUPERVLSORS ..: :~'; ,~ ~ c '~; COUNTY QF Rl_ITTF, STATE OF C.ALIFQRNIA ~~ + L._.,...~. ~o ~ v ~~-~~ C '~'r'*~ Resolufiori No. 84-95 RESOLUTION APPROPRIATING h10NIES TO COUNTY=SERVICE AREA #1.8, #37 AND.'#22 WHEREAS, the Board of Supervisors, pursuant to Resolution No. 75-82, established a County Service Area Loan Revolving Fund; and WHEREAS, Government Code Section 25210.9c provides that a County may appropriate any of its avail able .monies to such fund in an amount not to exceed $500,000; and WHEREAS, said Section 25210.9c further provides that said revolving fund shall be reimbursed from monies made available from a benefiting service area and that no sums shall be disbursed from the revolving fund until the Board of Supervisors has, by resolution, established a method by and term (not exceeding five years} within which the county service area is to reimburse the revolving-fund, and specified that the service area shall also reimburse the funds for interest at the current rate per annum received on similar types of investments, as determined by the County Treasurer; and WHEREAS, the Butte County Board of Supervisors has determined that County Service Area No. 18, Oro-Quincy Road Lighting and County Service Area No. 37, Gridley- Biggs Ambulance, require additional funding due to an error in the service charges levied for 1983-84; and WHEREAS, the Butte County Board of Supervisors has determined that County Service Area No. 22 requires additional funds to cover maintenance required by early rains. NOW, TFIEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Butte County Board of Supervisors: 1. That the following loans be disbursed from the County Service Area Loan Revolving Fund to the districts indicated: LOAN DISTRICT $ 150 County Service Area No. 18 $10,000 County Service Area No. 37 $ 2,200 County Service Area No. 22 2. That the amounts disbursed to the above referenced County Service Areas be reimbursed to the County Service Area Loan Revolving Fund according to authorizing statutes.
