RESOLUTION IN APPRECIATION
OF BRIAN D. McGiE
WHEREAS, Brian McGie began his law enforcement career with
the Yuba City Police Department in 1960; and
WHEREAS, Brian McGie joined the California Highway Patrol
in July, 1963; and
WHEREAS, during his employment with the Highway Patrol,
Brian McGie was assigned to the Lancaster, Los Banos, Oroville and
Woodland offices, of which the last 17 years have primarily been
devoted to the Oroville office; and
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that this Board, on its
own behalf, and on behalf of the residents of the County of Butte,
expresses deep appreciation for the unselfish dedication and devotion
displayed by Brian McGie during the 17+ years he has served in the
Oroville area.
PASSED AND ADOPTED by the Butte County Board of Supervisors
this 5th day of June, 1984, by the following vote:
AYES: Supervisors Fulton, Moseley, Wheeler
and Chairman Saraceni
NOES: None
ABSENT: Supervisor Dolan
NOT VOTING: None
