RESOLUTION GIVING NOTICE OF HEARING
ON PETITION TO ABANDON AN ALLEY
WHEREAS, this Board has received a petition from Floyd and
Penny Readman, and others, requesting the abandonment of an alley as
described below; and
WHEREAS, pursuant to Chapter 3, Part 3 of Division 9 of
California Streets and Highways Cade, this Board shall set a date
for a hearing on the petition for abandonment,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of Supervisors:
1. That this Board hereby gives notice that at its regular
meeting an July 31 , 1984 at 10:00 a.m., in the Board Chambers,
Butte County Administration Building, Oroville, California, a hearing
shall be held on the abandonment of the following described alley:
ALLEYWAY - Block 35, Thermalito
Being that certain 15-foot alley lying within Block
35 of Thermalito which lies within the south half of
Section 12, T19N, R3E, M.D.M, as shown on Wall Map
No. 6, County of Butte, State of California, more
particularly described as follows:
Being that certain 15-foot alley bounded on
the North by the southerly lot lines of Lots
1 to it of said Block 35, bounded on the
South by the northerly lot lines of Lots 12
to 22 of said Block 35, bounded on the East
by the westerly right of way line of that
certain 80-foot right of way known as Sixth
Street, bounded on the West by the easterly
right of way line of that certain 60-foot
right of way known as Seventh Street.
Said Map showing the alley of said Block 35 to be
abandoned is on file in the Office of the Butte County
Department of Public Works, 7 County Center Drive,
Oroville, California.
2. That a map showing said portion of said alley to be
abandoned is on file at the Public Works Department, 7 County Center
Drive, Oroville, California.
3. That this Resolution be posted and published pursuant
to the provisions of Chapter 3, Part 3 of Division 9 of California
StreEts and Highways Code.
