RESOLUTION GIVING NOTICE OF HEARING
ON PETITION TO ABANDON A RIGHT-OF-WAY
WHEREAS, this Board has received a petition from Marvin
Shewmaker, and others, requesting the abandonment of a right-of-way
as described below; and
WHEREAS, pursuant to Chapter 3, Part 3 of Division 9 of
California Streets and Highways Code, this Board shall set a date
For a hearing on the petition for abandonment,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE I7 RESOLVED by the Board of Supervisors:
1. That this Board hereby gives notice that at its regular
meeting on August 14 , 1984 at 10:00 a,m., in the Board Chambers,
Butte County Administration Building, Oroville, California, a hearing
shall be held on the abandonment of the following described right-of-way.
NORTH ST.
RIGHT OF WAY

Being that certain 80-foot right of way known as
North Street as shown on 'the Map of the Town of
Nelson, recorded in Book 1, Maps of Record, at Page
58, County of Butte, State of California, more
particularly described as follows:
Beginning at the northwesterly corner of Lot 10,
Block 17, of the Town of Nelson, thence North BO
feet; thence East 50 feet more or lass; thence South
80 feet to the northeasterly corner of said Lot 10;
thence West 50 feet more or less to the point of
beginning.
Said Map showing the right of way to be abandoned is
'~_ on file in the Office of Butte County Department of
Public Works, 7 County Center Orive, Oroville,
California.
2. That a map showing said portion of said right-of-way
to be abandoned is an file at the Public Works Department, 7 County
Center Drive, Oroville, California.

3. That this Resolution be posted and published pursuant
to the provisions of Chapter 3, Part 3 of Division 9 of California
Streets and Highways Code.

this 17th day of July 1984, by the following vote:
AYES: Supervisors Fulton, Moseley, Wheeler and Chairman Saraceni
