RE50LUTION IN RECOGNITION
OF KHSL-TV 12 BROADCASTING
WHEREAS, KHSL-TV 12 was the first network to bring television
programming to the North Valley; and
WHEREAS, on August 29, 1953, KHSL-TV 12 began broadcasting in
downtown Chico from a building which housed an old automotive repair
shop, but which was converted to a functional broadcasting center; and
WHEREAS, KHSL-TV 12 has been broadcasting from its downtown
location for the past 30 years; and
WHEREAS, on September 19, 1984, KHSL-TV 12 will be celebrating
the Grand Opening of its new broadcasting facility, which facility will
house the most up-to--date broadcasting communications system in the
North State;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RE50LVED that this Board, on its own
behalf, and on behalf of the residents of the County of Butte, salutes
KHSL-TV 12 for its 30 years of broadcasting excellence in the North
State.
PASSED AND ADOPTED by the Butte County Board of Supervisors
this 21th day of August, 1984, by the fallowing vote:

and Chairman Saraceni
