NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Butte County Board of Supervisors:: 1. The Clerk of the Board is ordered to give notice by publication as set forth in Water Code Section 50302 and in the form attached as Exhibit "A" hereto of the time for hearing upon the Petition for Formation of the proposed Rock Creek Reclamation District. 2. The time for hearing upon the formation of the Rock Creek Reclamation District is set for October 16 19 84 at the hour of 10:00 A.M. in the Board of Supervisors Chambers, 25 County Center Drive, Oroville> California. N'ICHOLS, Chief Administrative Officer and Clerk of the Board NOTICE OF HEARING ON FORMATION OF ROCK CREEK RECLAMATION DISTRICT Notice is hereby given 6y the Butte County Board of .Supervisors that a petition of owners of land within the proposed Rock Creek Reclamation District has been presented to this Board. Notice that a public hearing upon such petition for formation has been set for October 16 l9 84 at the hour of 10:00 a.m., at the Board of Supervisors Chambers, 25 County Center Drive, Oroville, California. The text of the petition and the description of the land proposed to be included within such district is as follows: PETITION FOR FORMATION OF ROCK CREEK RECLAMATION DISTRICT T0: THE BOARD OF SUPERVISORS OF TWE COUNTY OF BUTTE, STATE OF CALIFORNIA TAKE NOTICE that the undersigned do present the following Petition to the Board of Supervisors and request that such Soard institute the following acts: 1. That the Boardof Supervisors shall cause to be established and formed the Rock Creek Reclamation District, a reclamation district farmed and existing under the laws of the State of California. 2. That the boundaries of such Rock Creek Reclamation District be determined as follows: (a) All of that property located in the County of Butte, State of California and described as follows: Shown and described in Exhibit "A". -1- Exhibit "A" (.b) A plat showing the location of such property proposed to 6e included within the Rock Creek Reclamation District is attached hereto as Exhibit "B" . 3. That all lands located within the Rock Creek Reclamation District are located within the County of Butte, and the County of Butte is the only affected County. 4. The number of acres proposed to be included in the District, and specified in the area-described in paragraph 2 above and shown on that certain plat and made a part of this Petition as Exhibit "B", is in excess of 2,000 acres. 5. The place where the principal business of the proposed District is to be transacted is 300 Salem Street, Chico, California, and the mailing address of such Distri ct shall be the same address. 6. The undersigned, as all owners of the land signified next to their names,.da-sign and execute this Petition far formation of the~propased Rock Creek Reclar~ation District and further petition the Board a~F Supervisors to consolidate the offices of assessor, tax collector and treasurer into one office. - 2- APP.
