API ORDINANCE ZONING A PORTION OF THE COUNTY OF
BUTTE, STATE OF CALIFORNIA, pursuant to
ORDINANCE N05. 475, 522 AND 676 OF SAID COUPITY

The Board of Supervisors of the County of Butte, State of Cali-
2;: forn.ia, under and pursuant to Ordinance No. 475 of said County,
3' being the Zoning Enabling Ordinance of said County as amended by
4 Ordinance Nos. 522 and 676, do ordain as follows:
5~ SECTION i. The hereinbelow described area, situate in the
8 County of Butte, State of California, shall be and it is hereby

zoned as an "R-1" (Single Family Residential) District and such are2
'$ shall be subject to the restrictions and restricted uses and regu-
,9 lations Hereinafter specified and provided. Said areas sa zoned
10 being located in the unincorporated area of Butte County, Paradise,
IT California, and particularly described as follows:
12 PIap No. 6 (Paradise area) as shown in the Office of
13 the Butte County Planning Commission and the
Office of the~Butte County Clerk.
14 SECTION 2. REGULATIONS FOR "R-1" DISTRICT. The following
i5 regulations shall apply in an "R-1" District:
16 2.1 Uses Permitted:
17 a) Single-family dwellings, not including tents or trailers.

b} Accessory builc[ings pertinent to the permitted uses.
19 2.2 Lot area: Minimum required area of a lot per dwelling
20 unit shall be not less than eight thousand, one hundred twenty
21 five (8,125) square feet.

2.3 Lot Width: Minimum lot width shall not be less than

sixty-dive (65) feet.
24' 2.4 Front Yard: Minimum front yard shall be fifty (50) feet

from the centerline of the road, except where the road is
26
classified by the County as a Federal. Aid Secondary Road the
87 minimum building setback requirement shall be fifty-five (55)

feet from the centerline of said road.

SECTION 3. All uses of land-within the District not specific-
30
ally authorized and permitted in Section 2 are prohibited.

SECTION 4. In compliance with the provisions of said Enabling
Ordinance, the same is hereby amended by adding to Section 5 thereo
this Ordinance in full.
SECTION 5. The penalties for the violation of the zoning here
by imposed within the district shall be as provided in the Zoning
Enabling Ordinance. In compliance with the provisions of the Zonin
Enabling Ordinance, this Ordinance shall from and after its effect-
ive date become a supplement to and part of the Zoning Enabling
Ordinance.
SECTION 6. The Ordinance shall be and it is hereby declared
to be in full force and effect from and after thirty (30) days
after the date of its passage, and before the expiration of fifteen
(15) days after the date of passage this Ordinance shall be publish
once with the names of the members of the Board voting for and
against it in the PARA3~ISE POST a newspaper published
in the County of Butte, State of California.
PASSED AND ADOPTED by the Board of Supervisors of the County
of Butte, State of California, this 11th day of MAY 1965,
by the following vote:
AYES: SUPERVISORS GILES, HO~rTSDEN, MAXON, McKILLOP and
CHAIRMAN PRYDE.
