HomeMy WebLinkAbout850ORDINANCE NO, 850 AN ORDINANCE OF THE COUNTY OF BUTTE, STATE OF CALIFORNIA, ZONING A PORTION OF SAI7a COUNTY PURSUANT TO ORDINANCE NOS. 475, 522 AND 67b OF SAID COUNTY 1 The Board of Supervisors of the County of Butte, State of 2 California, pursuant to the provisions of Ordinance No. 475 of said 3 County and being the Zoning Enabling Ordinance as amended by '4 Ordinance Nos, 522 and 676, do ordain as follnwss 5 SECTION 1, The hereinafter described axes situate in the 6 County of Butte, State of Californian shall be and it is hereby '7 zoned as an "S«2" (Medium=Density Suburban-Residential) District 8 and such area shall be sub3ect to the restrictions and regulations 9 hereinafter specified. Said area so zoned being located in the 10 unincorporated area of Butte County (Forest Ranch), California, and 11 particularly described as follows: 12 Butte County Sectional Map No„ A~65 as shown in the Office of the Butte County Plannr:g Commissien 13 and Office of the Butte county Clerk, 14 SECTION 2. REGULATIONS FOR AN "S~2'* DISTRICT 15 The following regulations shall-apply in an "S~2" z~.strict: 16 2.1 Uses Permitteds 17 A. Single-family dwellings, not including tents or txailers 18 B. Accessory buildings pertinent to the permitted uses 19 2.2 Agricultural uses excepting a'minimum lot area (10,000 20 square feet) to be devoted to residential use and the followinc 21 requirements for each animal or livestock raised or kept on 22 the premises 23 A. For each horse ax head of cattle or swine over ane year 24 of age - eight thousand (8,000) square feet. 25 B. For each sheep or goat -two thousand (2,000) square feel 26 C. The parking requireme for multiple dwellings shall be on the basis of one parking space for each dwelling unit. The minimum area for each parking space shall be a space ten (l0) feet by twenty {20) feet. SECTION 4. All uses of land within the district not specif- ically authorized and permitted in SECTIONS 2 and 3 aze prohibited,. SECTION 5. In compliance with the provisions of said Zoning Enabling Ordinance, the same is hereby amended by adding to SECTION 5 thereof this Ordinate in :Full. SECTION 6, The penalties for the violation of the zoning her imposed within the district shall be as provided in the Zoning Enabling Ordinance. This Ordinance shall be and it is hereby declared to be in full force and effect from and after thirty (30) days aft the date of its passage and before the expiration of fifteen (15) days after its passage. This Ordinance shall be published once with the names of the members of the Soard voting for and against it in the Chaco~Enterpx'ase , a newspaper published in the County of Butte, State of California.
