RESdLUTION AUTHORTZTNG EXECUTION OF GRANT AMENDMENT
FOR THE COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT BLOCK GRANT PROGRAM
GRANT N0. 82-STBG-003
BE TT RESOLVED by the Board of Supervisors of the County of Butte, State of
California, as follows:
1. That said County approves the Grant Amendment for the Community Develop-
.meat Block Grant Program, Grant No: 82-STBG-003, and the Chairman of the Board be
authorized to execute said Grant Amendment on behalf of said County. The Grant
Amendment amends portions of the original grant for housing rehabilitation, street
improvements, construction of storm drains and sewers, neighborhood cleanup and recon-
struction in the Chapmantown Area,
2, That Clerk of this Board be authorized to attach certified copy of this
resolution to the Grant Amendment.
PASSED AND ADOPTED by the Board of Supervisors of the County of Butte, State
of California, this 2Qth day of January -,, 1985, by the following

Grant Number 82-ST8G-003 entered into by and between the Department of Housing
and Community Development and the Grantee on ,~. ~1ay 17, 1983 .__~ is hereby
amended as follows:
Page I, Grant Period iEs amended to read: June 30, 1983-January 31, 1980.
Attachment A, Section 1-fork Description, is amended to read:
Grantee shall perform all work as described in the Application, the correspondence
dated~iVovember 27, 1984, and the revised Work Program. Work shall consist of the
following:
1. Street improvements and construction of storm drains and sewer lines;
2. Rehabilitation of 32 homes in Chapmantown.
3. Acquisition of 3 delapidated structures and demolition in preparation for
recanstructi an;
4. Neighborhood clean-up, including demo]it-ion arsd removal Of~debris.
`Attachment A, Section 2-Completion Date, is amended to read:
Ali Mork to be completed no later than January 3i, 1986.

Attac~tment A, Section 3-Grant Amount and Operating Budget, is amended to read:
The Grant award for $600,000 consists of $252,870 for housing rehabilitation,
$205,000 for street improvements and construction of storm drains and sewer
lines, $75,000 for acquisition and demolition of de]apidated structures,
$5,000 for neighborhood clean-up, and $62,130 for genera] administration.
Specifics of the budget shall be agreed upon by the State and grantee.
Attachment B-Special Conditions, is amended to add new Condition 4 and 5, as
follows:
4. Grantee shall report to the State monthly regarding progress in -meeting
the goals as submitted in the revised Work Program.
5. Prior to drawdown of any funds far the acquisition/demolitian/reconstruc-
tion activity, grantee shall submit proposed mortgage loan agreements,
acquisition agreements, and escrow instructions to the Department for
Legal review and approval.
All other terms and conditions remain as stated in the original agreement.
