RESOLUTION GIVING NOTICE OF HEARING
ON PETITION TO ABANDON A RTGHT-OF-WAY
WHEREAS, this Board has received a petition from Bruce
McDougal, and others, requesting the abandonment of aright-of~way
as described below; and
WHEREAS, pursuant to Chapter 3, Part 3 of Division 9 of
California Streets and Highways Code, this Board shall set a date
for a hearing on the petition for abandonment,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of Supervisors:
1. That this Board hereby gives notice that at its regular
meeting on .t+~av ~ _ _ , 1985 at io:oa a. m. , in the Board Chambers,
Butte County Administration Building, Oroville, California, a hearing
shall be held on the abandonment of the following described right-of-
way.
Being a portion of that 20 foot wide easement along
the East side of Lot No. 56 of John Bidwell's 2nd
Subdivision.
Beginning at the southeast corner of said Lot No. 56
as shown on that certain map of the 2nd Subdivision
of the John Bidwell Rancho recorded in Book No. 5, of
maps at Page No. 27, in the office of the recorder,
County of Butte, State of California; thence North
along the east line of said Lot No. 56, 854.71 feet
more or less to the southeasterly extension of the
Southerly line of that certain 40 foot wide Oak Way
easement as shown on said 2nd Subdivision of John
Bidwell Rancho; thence N 60°56'25" W along the
southerly line of said. Oak Way easement, also being 40
feet southwesterly of and parallel to the Northeasterly
line of said Lot No. 56, 22.88 feet; thence south on a
line 20.00 feet westerly of and parallel with the
easterly line of said Lot No. 56, 865.83 feet more or
less to the southerly line of said Lot No. 56; thence
east along said southerly line 20,00 feet to the POINT
OF BEGINNING.
Containing an area of 0.4 acre more or less.
to be abandoned is on file at the Public Works Department, 7 County
Center Drive, Oroville, California.
3. That this Resolution be posted and published pursuant
to the provisions of Chapter 3, Part 3 of Division 9 of California
Streets and Highways Code.
PASSED AND ADOPTED by the Butte County Board of Supervisors
this 2nd day of April 1985, by the following vote:
AYES: Supervisors Dolan, Mclnturf, McLaugkt].i.n, Wheeler and Chairman Fulton
