HomeMy WebLinkAbout85-047RESOLUTION AMENDING THE BYLAWS OF THE BUTTE COUNTY WATER COMMISSION WHEREAS, the Board of Supervisors adopted bylaws for the Butte County Water Commission on March 27, 1984; and WHEREAS, it is the desire of the Butte County Water Commission and the Board of Supervisors to amend these bylaws to change the term of appointment for commissioners appointed by the Water Commission. NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, that the revised bylaws for the Butte County Water Commission are amended as set forth in Exhibit "A," attached hereto and by this reference incorporated herein, to include the amendment as follows: Section 2, Article II is amended as follows: Section 2. For the initial term of appointment for commissioners appointed by the Board of Supervisors three commissioners shall serve a term expiring January 1, 1985 and twa commissioners shall serve a term expiring January 1, 1986. For the initial term of appointment for the two commissioners appointed by the commission, one shall serve until March 1, 1985 and one shall serve until March 1, 1986. Thereafter, terms of office on the commission shall be fora period of two years.
