STATE QF CA[..fFpRN1A A'~ ~~~ ~#~~~ ` Kesoluf2on No.85-59 r RESOLUTION OF THE BUTTE COUNTY BOARD OF SUPERVISORS ELECTING TO RECEIVE ALL ADDITIONAL ALLOCATIONS OF TAXES IN ACCORDANCE WITW HEALTH AND SAFETY CODE §33676 AFFECTING REDEVELOPF9ENT AGENCY ACTIVITIES IN THE CENTRAL CHICO REDEYELOPI~IENT PROJECT WHEREAS, the Butte County Board of Supervisors is an affected taxing agency legislative body representing County General; and WHEREAS, the Butte County Board of Supervisors also represents the affected taxing agencies of Welfare, Library, and County Service Area 24; and WHEREAS, the Butte County Board of Supervisors elects to receive all additional allocations of taxes which it is entitled to receive. TOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Butte County Board of Supervisors, in accordance with the provisions of Health and Safety Code §33676, elects to receive additional taxes for all affected taxing agencies for which it is responsible in accordance with the following: 1. All increases in the rate of tax imposed far the benefit of these taxing agencies, which levy occurs after the tax year in which the ordinance adopting the Redevelopment Plan becomes effective. 2. Increases in the assessed valuation of the taxable property in the Redevelopment Project area, as the assessed value is established by the assessment roll last equalized prior to the effective date of the ordinance adopting the Redevel- opment Plan pursuant to Subdivision (a) of the Health and Safety Code §33670, which are, or otherwise would be, calculated annually pursuant to Section (f) of §110.1 of the Revenue and Taxation Code. -2- BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the distribution of this Resolution upon its adoption shall be made to: 1. The City of Chico City Council. 2. The Chico Redevelopment Agency. 3. The Chico City Manager. 4. The Butte County Auditor-Controller. 5. The Butte County Assessor. 6. The Butte County Treasurer-Tax Collector.
