Resolution No. B5-60 RESOLUTION DECLARING THE RESULTS OF THE FORMATION ELECTION FOR THE BUZZTAIL COMMUNITY SERVICES DTSTRIC WHEREAS, the Board of Supervisors of the County of Butte scheduled a formation election for March 5, 1985, to determine whether the registered voters within the proposed Buzztail Community Services District desired to form said area into a California Community Services District; and WHEREAS, such election was duly noticed and held on March 5, 1985; and WHEREAS, the County Clerk/Recorder of the County of Butte has canvassed the votes for the district formation election, which canvass of votes is attached hereto as Exhibit "A"; and WHEREAS, it appearing that the majority of all the votes cast were in favor of the formation of the distrct. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the property, the boundary of which is described on Exhibit "B" attached hereto, is declared to be formed into a California Community Services District pursuant to the provisions of Section 61000 et seq. of the Government Code of the State of California. BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the purpose of said District is to provide supplemental police services, supplemental fire services, road services, water services, surface drainage facilities and maintenance of same, sewer maintenance, and street lighting authorization. BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the name of said district shall be the Buzztail Community Services District. BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the district shall be determined to be formed as of the date of the certification of the election results, March 19 , 1985, and that a certified copy of this order is to be duly recorded with the Reearder of the County of Butte. ~% 8513580 -2- BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the County Clerk of the County of Butte shall immediately file a certified copy of this order with the Secretary of State pursuant to the provisions of Section 61000 et seq. of the Government Code of the State of California.
