Resolution No. 85-61
RESOLUTION PROCLAIMING MAY 13-17 AS FUTURE
FARMERS OF AMERICA AWARENESS WEEK
WHEREAS, the primary purpose of the Future Farmers of America
is the development of agricultural leadership, cooperative effort and
good citizenship; and
WHEREAS, Future Farmers of America have contributed much to
the health and welfare of the nation by involving young people in
activities which create an interest in agricultural occupations, encourages
scholastic achievement and provides training in useful citizenship; and
Wi-IEREAS, "Future Farmers of America Awareness Week" .provides
an opportunity to focus on the benefits of this organization.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Butte County Board
of Supervisors, in recognition of the many achievements of the Future
Farmers of America, does hereby proclaim May 13-17, 1985 as "Future Farmers
of America Awareness Week in Butte County."
