of the California Department of Forestry team in the Butte Ranger Unit
since 1969; and
WHEREAS, Bab Montague has been a volunteer with Company 42
{North Chico) since 1982; and
WHEREAS, Bob Montague has been instrumental in raising aver
$30,000 for the purchase of Water Tender 42; and
WHEREAS, Bob Montague`s dedication to duty and willingness
to serve his organization and community is reflective of the honor of
1983 Butte County Volunteer Firefighter of the Year being bestowed upon
him.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of Supervisors,
County of Butte, State of California, that recognition of appreciation
be given to Paid-Call Firefighter Bob Montague for his selection as 1983
Butte County Fire Department Volunteer Firefighter of the Year.
PASSED AND ADOPTED by the Board of Supervisors, County of Butte,
State of California, this 4th day. of June, 1985, by the following vote:
