Resolufion No. 85-98
RESOLUTION PROCLAIMING JUNE 24-30, 1985 AS
CHAMBER OF COMMERCE WEEK IN BUTTE COUNTY
WHEREAS, the business community of Butte County is dedicated to
service both in the public and private sectors; and
WHEREAS, the business community of Butte County supports and promotes
the Chambers of Commerce in Chico, Gridley, Oroville and Paradise; and
WHEREAS, the local chambers of commerce through their constant vigilance
have sought to improve the economy in Butte County by promoting a favorable
business climate; and
WHEREAS, throughout the county, the local chambers of commerce have
created an atmosphere of community awareness and economic growth and development,
which has made Butte County a better place to live, work and raise our families.
NOW, THEREFORE, SE IT RESOLVED that the Butte County Board of Supervisors
do hereby proclaim the week of June 24-30, 1985 Chamber of Commerce Week in
Butte County and would encourage the local communities to honor the private
enterprise sector during that week in recognition of its continued service
to our county.
PASSED AND ADOPTED by the Board of Supervisors, County of Butte,
this 18th day of June 1985 by the following vote:
AYES: Supervisors Dolan, McIn'turf, Wheeler and Vice Chairman McLaughlin
NOES: None
ABSENT: Chairman Fulton
NOT VOTING: None
