HomeMy WebLinkAbout85-100RESOLUTION OF THE COUNTY OF BUTTE ANNEXING TERRITORY TO COUNTY SERVICE AREA N0. 88 (HERITAGE ESTATES DRAINAGE) WHEREAS, Hettie Lou Downing has petitioned the Local Agency Formation Commission fox inclusion of her parcel within the Heritage Estates Drainage District; and LVHEREAS, the Butte County Local Agency Formation Commission has approved this annexation and designated it 85-01 - CSA No. 88 -Downing Annexation, the exterior boundaries of which are described in Exhibit A attached hereto and made a part hereof by this reference; and WHEREAS, the Butte County Local Agency Formation Commission has duly approved and authorized the Board of Supervisors to annex such territory without notice and hearing by the Board, and without an election; and WHEREAS, this territory is uninhabited; and WHEREAS, the reason for this annexation petition is to provide storm drainage. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the territory described in Exhibit A, designated as 85-01 - CSA No. 88 - Downing Annexation, is hereby annexed to and included within the boundaries of CSA No. 88 (Heritage Estates Drainage). BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that said territory shall be taxed to pay any indebtedness or liability of County Service Area No. 88 (Heritage Estates Drainage) prior to or existing at the time of annexation.
