HomeMy WebLinkAbout85-105BOARD OF SUPERI/1S~RS ~~~ ~* i r ~~ COUNTY OF EUTTE, .STATE OF CALIFORNIA i'~ N~~ ~ .~ ;, •, Resolufion No. 85-1©5 RESOLUTION EXCHANGING REAL PROPERTY AND ACCEPTING GRANT DEED AND AUTHORTZTNG CHAIRMAN TO SIGN WHEREAS, the Board of Supervisors of the County of Butte, State of California, heretofore declared its intention to exchange that real property described in Exhibit "A", attached hereto, for that certain real property described in Exhibit "B", attached hereto; and WHEREAS, that said real property described in Exhibit "A", attached hereto, is not necessary for the public or.county use; and WHEREAS, that said real property described in Exhibit "B", attached hereto, is necessary for the public and county use as highway right of way; and WHEREAS, the property to be exchanged is of equal value; and WHEREAS, the Board desires to exchange said property pursuant to Section 960.4 of the Streets and Highways Code and Section 25365 of the Government Code of the State of California; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of Supervisors of the County of Butte as follows: 1. That the Board hereby exchanges the :real property described in Exhibit "A", attached hereto, and incorporated herein as if set forth in full, for that certain real property shown in Exhibit "B", which is attached hereto and incorporated herein as if set forth is full. The Chairman is authorized to sign a quit-.Claim Deed in favor of Bruce W. McDougal and Nancy J. Mc-ougal covering the real property described in Exhibit "A" and the Chairman is further authorized to accept a Grant Deed from Bruce W. McDougal and Nancy J. McDougal in favor of the County of Butte covering that certain real property described in Exhibit ,rBn PASSED AND ADOPTED by the Board of Supervisors of the County of Butte, State of California, this 18th day of June 198 5.
