HomeMy WebLinkAbout85-110RES():.:sl""ION N0. 85-110 80ARD OF SUPERVISORS COUNTY OF BUTTE, STATE OF CALIFORNIA RESOLUTION ADOPTING PROPOSED BUDGET FOR THE FISCAL YEAR 1985-86 (u0l~ERNMENT CODE SECTION 29066 ET SEQ.) BE IT RESOLVED by the 80ARD OF SUPERVISORS of the COUNTY OF BUTTE, STATE OF CALIFORNIA, as follows: 1. That the tabulation of anticipated revenues and proposed expendi- tures for the fiscal year 1985-86 has been reviewed and revised under the direction of this Board, and now conforms to its judgment as a proper prelimi- nary financial program for said fiscal year and is hereby adopted as the "Proposed Budget of the County of Butte for the Fiscal Year 1985-86." 2. The "Proposed Budget" shall be reproduced and a sufficient number of budget documents shall be provided so that each taxpayer who desires may obtain one, and a copy shall immediately be forwarded to the State Controller by the Auditor. 3. The Clerk of the Board shall forthwith publish a notice once in a newspaper of general circulation stating that: (a) The "Proposed Budget" documents are available to taxpayers requesting them. (b) That this Board of Supervisors will meet at Oroville on July 22, 1985 at 9:00 a.m. in the Board of Supervisors' room, in the County Administration Center, 25 County Center Drive, in the City of Orovi1le, County of Butte, State of California, for the purpose of fixing the final budget and any taxpayer may appear thereat and be heard regarding the increase, de- crease or omission of any items of the Budget or for the inclusion of additional items, all in accordance with Section 29066 of the Government Code of the State of California. PASSED AND ADOPTED by the Board of Supervisors of the County of Butte, State of California, this 25th day of June, 1985, by the following vote: AYES: Supervisors Dolan, McInturf, Wheeler and Vice-Chairman McLaughlin NOES: None ABSENT: Chairman Fulton NOT VOTING: None ED McLAUGHLIN, ice-Chairman of the Butte County Board of Supervisors ATTEST: MARTIN J.
