RESOLUTION ADOPTING POLICIES FOR PRE-APPLICATIONS FOR
USE PERMITS AND VARIANCES
WHEREAS, the Board of Supervisors of Butte County has determined
that development, which results from the approval of Use Permits or Variances,
must comply with the ordinances and regulations regarding land use regulations,
water supplies, sewage disposal systems, drainage, access roads and any other
infrastructure; and
WHEREAS, the determination that the ordinances and regulations,
regarding development under Use Permits and Variances, can be complied with
is uncertain; and
WHEREAS, compliance with the ordinances and regulations of develop-
ment should be assured prior to the consideration of the application for Use
Permits and Variances; and
WHEREAS, the board has determined that a pre-application review
would be an appropriate policy to provide the assurances that development,
proposed on Use Permits and Variances, can comply with the regulations;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that a pre-development review be
accomplished prior to the application for a Use Permit or a Variance being
received by the County.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the request for the pre-application
review be accompanied by fees in the amount of $161.50 plus $38.00 per hour
for a minimum of four (4) hours for sanitarians for a Use Permit; $111.50
plan $38.00 per hour for a minimum of four (4) hours for sanitarians for a
Variance.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that upon completion of the pre-development
review, compliance with the development ordinances and regulations has been
assured.
PASSED AND ADOPTED by the Board of Supervisors of the County of
Butte, State of California, this 2nd day of ~u~Y , 1985, by the
following vote:
AYES: Supervisors Mcinturf, McLaughlin, Wheeler and Chairman Fulton
NOES: None
ABSENT: Supervisor Dolan
