RESOLUTION OF THE BUTTE COUNTY BOARD OF SUPERVISORS
APROVING BUTTE COUNTY CRIME RESISTANCE PROGRAM
WHEREAS, the County of Butte desires to undertake a certain
project designated Butte County Crime Resistance Program to be funded in
part from funds made available through State General funds as authrorized
by Chapter 1291 of the 1982 Statutes for the California Community Crime
Resistance Program> administrered by the Office of Criminal Justice
Planning (hereafter referred to as OCJP).
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Sheriff of the County
of Butte is authorized, on his own behalf to submit the attached Application
for Grant for Law Enforcement Purposes to OCJP and is authorized to execute
on behalf of the County of Butte the attached Grant Award for law enforcement
purposes inlcuding any extensions or amendments thereof.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the applicant agrees to provide all
matching funds required for said project (including any extension or
amendment thereof) under the Community Crime Resistance Program and the
rules and regulations of OCJP and that cash will be appropriated as required
thereby.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that grant funds received hereunder shall
not be used to supplant law enforcement expenditures controlled by this body.
PASSED AND ADOPTED by the Board of Supervisors, County of Butte, State
of California, this T6th day of July, 1985, by the following vote:
