TERRITORY TO COUNTY SERVICE AREA NO. 23
(PLEASANT VALLEY DRAINAGE)
WHEREAS, Butte Savings and Loan has petitioned the Local
Agency Formation Commission for inclusion of their parcels within
the Pleasant Valley Drainage District; and
WHEREAS, the Butte County Local Agency Formation Commis-
sion has approved this annexation and designated it: 85-13 - CSA
#23 (Pleasant Valley Drainage District} - Sandalwood Annexation,
the extexiox boundaries of which are described in Exhibit "A"
attached hereto and made a part hereof by this reference; and
WHEREAS, the Butte County Local Agency Formation Commis-
Sion has duly approved and authorized the Board of Supervisors to
annex such territory without notice and hearing by fine Board and
without an election; and
WHEREAS, the territory is uninhabited; and
WHEREAS, the reason for this annexation is to provide
storm drainage.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the territory
described in Exhibit "A" designated as 85-13 - CSA #23 {Pleasant
Valley Drainage District) - Sandalwood Annexation, is hereby
annexed to and included within the boundaries of County Service
Area No. 23 (Pleasant Valley Drainage).
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that said territory shall be
taxed to pay any indebtedness or liability of County Service Area
No. 23 (Pleasant Valley Drainage) prior to or existing at the time
of annexation.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that said territory shall pay a
fee of $515.12 per acre for land being annexed to the district.
The acreage used for this calculation is total acreage, less the
acreage contained in easements for the Pleasant Valley Drainage
District {CSA #23).
PASSED AND ADOPTED by the Butte County Board of
Supervisors on this 6th day of August 1985, by the
following vote:
AYES: Supervisors Dolan, McInturf, Mclaughlin, Wheeler and
Chairman Fulton
NOES: None
ABSENT : None

FOR
COUNTY SERVICE AREA NO. 23
PLEASANT VALLEY DRAINAGE
ASSESSMENT DISTRICT
All that certain real property situate in the County of Butte, State of
California, described as follows:
Parcels 1 and 3 as shown on that certain Parcel Map filed in the Office
of the County Recorder of the County of Butte, State of California, on
January 23, 1973, in Book 45 of Parcel Maps at Page 8, and a portion of
Lassen Avenue, more particularly described as follows:
COMMENCING at the intersection of the centerlines of Burnap Avenue and
said Lassen Avenue as shown on said Parcel Map;
THENCE North 51.°56" East, along said centerline of Lassen Avenue, a
distance of 278.50 feet to the TRUE POINT OF BEGINNING for the herein
described Parcel;
THENCE continuing along said centerline North 51°56" East, a distance
of 381.39 feet;
THENCE leaving said centerline of Lassen Avenue South 38°04" East, a
distance of 30.00 feet to a point on the Southeast right-of-way line of
said Lassen Avenue, said point also being the most Northerly corner of
Parcel 3;
THENCE South 38°04" East, a distance of 187.40 feet to the most
Easterly corner of said Parcel 3;
THENCE South 51°56" West, a distance of 200.00 feet to the most
Southerly corner of said Parcel 3, said Southerly corner also being an
the Northeast line of said Parcel 1;
THENCE South 38°04" East, a distance of 345.6], feet to the most
Easterly corner of said Parcel 1, said corner also being on the
Northwest right-of-way line of the Sacramento Northern Railroad;
THENCE South 15°52'32" West, along said Northwest right-of-way line, a
distance of 224.37 feet to the most Southerly corner of said Parcel 1;
THENCE leaving said Railroad right-of-way line North 38°04" West, a
distance of 665.08 feet to a point on the Southeast right-of-way line of
said Lassen Avenue, said point also being the most Westerly corner of
said Parcel l;
THENCE North 38°04" West, a distance of 30.00 feet to a point on the
centerline of said Lassen Avenue, said point also being the TRUE POINT
OF BEGINNING;
