nES^uL'u'lION IMPLEMENTING COUNTY CODE, ARTICLE XV,
SECTIONS 14-100 through 14-104, SPECIFYING
PARKING RESTRICTIONS FOR THE CHICO MUNICIPAL
COURT AND CHICO HEALTH DEPARTMENT PARKING LOTS
WHEREAS, the Board of Supervisors of the County of Butte
finds that the following parking restrictions for the Chico Municipal
Court and Chico Health Department parking lots would further the efficient
conduct of County business and the convenience of the public it serves;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED:
1. Pursuant to the Code of Butte County, Article XV, Sections 14-100
through 14-104, the following parking restrictions are hereby imposed
for the off-street parking lots on either side of the Chico Municipal
Court Building at 655 Oleander Avenue, Chico, and the parking lot surrounding
the Health Department Building at 695 Oleander Avenue, Chico.
2. At each of the entrances to these parking lots there
shall be a sign clearly visible and legible to persons driving vehicles
into the parking lots, which signs shall read as follows:
"All parking spaces, including handicapped
(blue), 30 minute (green), and undesignated
spaces, are for County business only.
Violators will be cited pursuant to County
Code."
For the purposes of this resolution, county employees assigned
to work in the Memorial Way, Chico Municipal Court and Health Department
buildings are considered to be on county business and may park their
personal vehicles in undesignated spaces.
3. The handicapped and timed spaces shall be as designated
on the attached map.
a. The handicapped spaces shall be designated by
i. A blue curb at the end of the spaces;
ii. The standard handicapped parking sign at the
curb end of each space dividing line separating adjacent handicapped
parking spaces; and,
iii. The standard handicapped parking symbol
painted on the road surface at the entrance to each handicapped space.
b. The 30 minute spaces shall be designated by a green
curb at the end of the spaces.

this 17th day of Septenbe, 1985 by the following vote:
AYES: Supervisors Dolan, McInturf, McLaughlin, Wheeler and
Chairman Fulton
