RESOLUTION GIVING NOTICE DF HEARING ON
PETITION TO ABANDON A DRAINAGE EASEMENT
WHEREAS, this Board has received a petition from Robert M.
Benoit, and others, requesting the abandonment of a drainage easement;
and
WHEREAS, pursuant to Chapter 3, Part 3 of Division 9 of
California Streets and Highways Code, this Board shall set a date
for a hearing on the petition for abandonment.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of 5upervisars:
1. That this Board hereby gives notice that at its
regular meeting on November 5
1 985, at 10:30 a. m . , in
the Board Chambers, Butte County Administration Building, Droville,
California, a hearing shall be held on the abandonment of the
following described easement:
All that certain real property situate in the County
of Butte, State of California, described as follows:
A portion of Lot 19 of the 5ecnnd Subdivision of the
Bohn Bidwell Rancho, also being a portion of Lot 8 as
shown on that certain Map entitled, "Sacramento Park"
filed in the office of the County Recorder of the
County of Butte, State of California, in Book 85 of
Maps at Page 32, more particularly described as follows:
Commencing at the southwesterly corner of said Lot 8
of said Map; thence along the southerly boundary line
of said Lot 8 North 80°49'08" East, a distance of 74.00
feet; thence leaving said southerly boundary line Nnrth
D°10'52" West, a distance of 10.50 feet, to the TRUE
POINT OF BEGINNING; thence continuing North 0°10`52"
West, a distance of 1.50 feet to a point on the
northerly line of a 12.00 foot wide storm drain easement
lying over the most southerly 12.00 feet of said Lot 8
as shown on said Map of Sacramento Park; thence along
said northerly line of said storm drain easement North
89°49'08" East, a distance of 45.DD feet; thence leaving
said northerly line South 0°10'52" East, a distance of
45.DO feet; thence South 89°49'08" West, and parallel
with said northerly easement line a distance of 45.DD
feet, to the TRUE PRINT OF BEGINNING.
Containing 68 square feet, more or less.
Said map showing the drainage easement to be abandoned is
on file in the office of Butte County Department of Public
2, That a map showing said portion of said drainage
easement to be abandoned is on file at the Butte County Public Works
Department, 7 County Center Drive, Oroville, California.
3. That this Resolution be pasted and published pursuant
to the provisions of Chapter 3, Part 3 of Division 9 of California
Streets and Highway Code.
PASSED AND ADOPTED by the Butte County Board of Supervisors
this 17th day of September , 1985, by the following vote:
AYES: Supervisors Oalan, McInturf, McLaughlin, Wheeler and
Chairman Fulton
