PETITION TO ABANDON A PUBLIC UTILITY EASEMENT
WHEREAS, this Board has received a petition from Steven D.
Lane Construction, Inc., requesting the abandonment of a public
utility easement; and
WHEREAS, pursuant to Chapter 3, Part 3 of Division 9 of
California Streets and Highways Code, this Board shall set a date
for a hearing on the petition for abandonment.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of Supervisors:
1. That this Board hereby gives notice that at its
regular meeting on November 5, 1985 , 1985, at 10:30 a.m., in
the Board Chambers, Butte County Administration Building, Oroville,
California, a hearing shall be held on the abandonment of the
following described easement:
3' Public Utilit Easement
A.P. No. 42-47-43
Being a portion of that certain 3-foot public utility
easement lying within Lot 126 of Big Chieo Creek
Estates, Unit No. 4, recorded in Book 91, Maps of
Record, at Pages 28 through 33, County of Butte,
State of California, more particularly described as
follows:
Being that certain 3-foot public utility easement
lying southerly of and parallel with and contiguous
to the north lot Iine of said Lot 126; beginning at
the northwest corner of said Lot 126, thence N BO"58'35"
E. 154.57 feet to a point lying 20-feet southwest of
the most northerly corner of said Lot 126 and the end
of the described line.
Said Map showing the easement to be abandoned is on
file in the office of the Butte County Department of
Public Works, 7 County Center Drive, Oroville,
California.

2. That a map showing said portion of said public utility
easement to be abandoned is an file at the Butte County Public Works
Department, 7 County Center Drive, Oroville, California.
3. That this Resolution be pasted and published pursuant
to the provisions of Chapter 3, Part 3 of Division 9 of California
Streets and Highway Code.
PASSED AND ADOPTED by the Butte County Board of Supervisors
this 1St day of October 1985, by the following vote:
AYES: Supervisors Dolan, McInturf, McLaughlin, Wheeler and Chairman Fulton
