RESOLUTION ESTABLISHING FEES PURSUANT TO CHAPTER 24
OF THE BUTTE COUNTY CODE AND AMENDING RESOLUTION 84-160
WHEREAS, it is the Board's intent that filing fees compensate for
the processing of Planning projects; and
WHEREAS, fees must be established for General Plan Amendments,
rezoning, use permits, variances, reapplications, appeals of project decisions,
publication costs for adopted zoning ordinances, and publishing casts for development
agreements,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the schedule of filing fees
attached hereto as Exhibit "R" shall become effective upon the effective date
of Ordinance No. 2484.
PASSED AND ADOPTED BY THE Butte County Board of Supervisors on
this 1st day of October, 1985, by the fallowing vote:
AYES: Supervisors Dolan, McInturf, McLaughlin, Wheeler and Chairman Fulton
NOES: None
ABSENT: None
NOT VOTING: None

~'~The applicant will be notified to deposit the estimated publication
costs of zoning ordinances or development agreements. If the actual
costs for County employees' time and publishing are less than the
amount deposited the remaining amount of the money shall be returned.
If the costs are greater than the estimate, the applicant shall pay
the additional amount. In the event that payment is not received
for the additional amounts within 30 days notice by the Clerk of
the Board, by registered mail, the Clerk of the Board will immediately
notify the collection agency.
*~Applicant will be notified of the estimated amount, in excess of
the $100.00 deposit, for the cost of preparing the amendment. The
estimated cost to be deposited with the Planning Agency'. If the costs
are greater than the estimate the applicant shall pay the additional
amount. In the event that payment is not received for the additional
amounts within 30 days notice by the Planning Department, by registered
mail, the Planning Department will immediately notify the collection
