ORDINANCE NO. 856
AN ORDINANCE ZONING A PORTION OF THE
COUNTY OF BUTTE, STATE OF CALIFORNIA,
PURSUANT TO ORDINANCE NOS. 475, 522'
AND 676 AND AMENDING ORDINANCE NO. 7••11
1 OF SAID COUNTY
2 The Board of Supervisors of the County of Butte, State of
3 Califoxni,a, under and pursuant to Ordinance No. 475 of saa,d County
4 being the Zoning Enabling Ordinance of said County as amended by
6 Ordinance Nos. S22 and 676 and ameading Ordinance No. .711, do oxdai
6 as follows:
7 SECTION 1. The hereinbelow described area situated in the
8 County of Butte, State of California, shall be and is hereby zoned
9 as an "ASR" (Agriculture-.Residential) District and such area shall
10 lye subject to the r®strictions and restricted uses and regulations
11 hereinafter specified and provided. Said area so zoned being
12 located in the unincorporated area of the County of Butte, east of
13 the City of Oroville, California, and particularly described as
14 follows;
15 Oroville Sectional Map 4D describing the Wyandotte
Acres Unit No• 1 as shown in the Office of the
16 Butte County Planning Commission and the Office
of the Butte County Clerk.
17 SECTION 2• REGULATIONS FOR AN "AwR" DISTRICT.
18 The following regulations shall apply in an 'tA-•RT' District s
19 2.1 Uses Permitted:
20 (a) One (1) family dwelling, not including tents or trailer ,
21 (b) Accessory buildings pertinent to the permitt®d uses,
22 (c) Agricultural uses, and
23 {d) Livestock, subject to requirements as followss
24 {1) Minimum lot area to be devoted to r®sidez:tial use
25 shall be not less than eight thousand one hundred twenty-five
26 (8,125) square feet.
27 {2) Exclusive of the area devoted to the residential use,
28 the fallowing lot or parcel areas shall be required for each
29 animal raised or kept on the premisess
30 (a) Fox each horse or head of cattle over one (1) year
31 of age «,., eight thousand one hundred twenty five (8,125)

its effective date become a supplement to and part of the Zoning
Enabling Ordinance.
SECTION 6. The Ordinance shall be and it is hereby declared
to be in full force and effect from and after thirty {30) days afte
the date of its passage ...and before the expiration of fifteen (15)
days after the date of passagey this Ordinance shall be published
once with the names of the members of of the Board voting far and
agaiast it in the OBOVIL~LE NtF.1RCURY ~~GISTEN, a newspaper published
is the County of Brxtte, State of California.
