California, do ordain as follows: ',
1. Sections 1 w 17 and 1 ~ 18 of the Code of Butte County,'
California, are amended to read as follows:
Section 1 ~- 17o Seal of board of supervisorsa
The seal of the board of supervisors shall be circular and
b.e not less than 1~" in diameter, and should be in the form and bea
the inscription and figures as follows:

Section 1 ~ 18, Seal of superior court of state in county,
The seal of the superior court of the state in and for the
county shall be circular and be not less than 1~" in diameter, an d
should be in the form and bear the inscription and figures as

2. This Ordinance shall take effect thirty (30} days
after its passage and before the expiration of fifteen (15) days
after its passage, it shall be published at least once with the
names of the Supervisors voting for or against in a local newspaper
