RESOLUTION OF THE BOARD OF SUPERVISORS FORMING
THE COUNTY ASSESSMENT DISTRICT REVIEW COMMITTEE
WHEREAS. the Butte County Board of Supervisors desires
the betterment of current and future development in the County of
Butte; and
WHEREAS, the Butte County Board of Supervisors has deter-
mined that the mutual cooperation of the people of the County of Butte
and Butte County officials is essential in achieving the betterment of
current and future development; and
WHEREAS, the Butte County Board of Supervisors has determined
that in order to facilitate achievement of the aforesaid goals, it is
necessary to establish a County Assessment District Review Committee;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of Supervisors
of the County of Butte that the Assessment District Review Committee
is hereby established pursuant to the following specifications:
A. Membership. The Commission shall be comprised of
the department head, or his designated representative, of the following
County departments:
1. Administration
2. Auditor
3. County Counsel
4. Planning
5. Public Works
d. Treasurer
B. Purpose. The Commission shall be responsible for
reviewing all requests for formation of assessment districts and to
make recommendations on such formation requests to assist the Board
of Supervisors in making a final determination on the formation of
the specific district.

A. Meet with proposed assessment district developer(s)
to mutually review and determine what impact, if any, such proposed
project(s) will have on the residents within the proposed assessment
district and on County government.
B. Evaluate, assess, and report what future costs are
unavoidable in such project(s) (i.e., public facilities, building
maintenance), and the exposure of the County to liability related
therewith.
C. Review with the Financial Stability Commission
what impact, if any, the proposed assessment district will have on
the County's financial condition, and report such findings.
D. Determine what additional sources of revenue are
available to finance needed county services and prepare recommenda-
tiaras to the Board of Supervisors related thereto.

this 7th day of January 198&, by the following vote:
AYES: Supervisors Dolan, Fulton, McInturf, wheeler and Chairman Fulton

ABSENT : None
